Good Friday - The Hours

This is traditionally a time to prayerfully recognize Jesus’ suffering and the hours that he spent on the cross. Every hour, marked by the tolling of the bell, will include a liturgical observance followed by silent reflection. People are invited to come and go as they need. The first hour (12 pm) will begin with the Good Friday Liturgy (NOT to include distribution of communion from the reserve sacrament). The second hour (1:00 pm) will begin with the Stations of the Cross. At the third hour, we will include the veneration of the cross with a reading of the passion according to Mark.
